When making your travel arrangements to the Big Island of Hawaii you should to fly into Hilo International Airport (General Lyman Field). Traveling from Oahu where the Alt-Az Conference is located you will be flying in and out of Honolulu International Airport. We have left Wednesday, Feb. 10 open as a travel day.

The headquarters for the Big Island Tours will be Uncle Billy's Hilo Bay Hotel, where Russ Genet will be staying. Below is information on how to contact Uncle Billy's to make your reservations for accommodations. Description

The Hilo Bay Hotel is an oceanfront, resort hotel located just under three miles from Hilo International Airport (General Lyman Field). This resort has been owned and operated by a native Hawaiian family for over 30 years. Uncle Billy's Hilo Bay Hotel offers traditional Hawaiian décor, full service hotel amenities, and island-style hospitality, all at affordable rates. The famous Black Sand Beach is only a mile away, as is a snorkel/dive center and hiking. This is the perfect base camp from where to immerse one's self in the culture and wonders of east Hawaii. A golf course is adjacent to the resort, as well.

The guest rooms are all equipped with individual climate control, the standard two double bed configuration and full window walls with sliding glass doors, which open to full private lanais.
